- Late Notice to Keeper The NTK was dated 14 days after the contravention but was posted by second class mail. The motorist received it on day 17, outside the POFA deadline.
- No Photographic Evidence of Contravention The notice claimed the vehicle was parked without a permit but the ANPR photographs only showed the vehicle entering and exiting. There was no photograph of the windscreen showing the absence of a permit.
- Incorrect Vehicle Details The notice stated an incorrect vehicle colour. While this alone might not invalidate the charge, combined with other defects it demonstrates a lack of care in the enforcement process.
